Schools have gone to extremes to ensure their students are dressed appropriately and not offensive to other students and teachers. Religiously affiliated symbols, girls’ body parts, and gang signs are typical items banned in some schools. It is so strict that students are forced to wear uniforms at public schools. Schools, such as Weed High School in California, have banned equal-gender dress codes, such as banning low cut tops. Dress codes carry harsh punishments for infractions., For example, an honor roll student from Hickory Ridge High School, will not be walking for her graduation for wearing a flowy top to school, since it was not deemed against the dress code by the administrative staff. 

Honestly, I disagree with the increasingly punitive dress-code policies. Schools should not ban Islamic symbols if the Christian Cross is ok. A girl’s bra strap is not distracting if a boy’s sag isn’t. But as it gets more impossible to not offend students and teachers with clothing and jewelry, then not wearing any clothing is the safest bet to finally end this debate on dress codes. Schools have suggested that students wear school-picked uniforms to fix this solution But instead of spending money on an uniform or clothes that students might not be able to wear since it is so “offensive”, we should all just go nude.

This dress code is not about being fair to a specific gender or religion.This creates a school in which there is no possibility to offend anyone by what you are wearing. Schools can forever be safe from unintended cruelty from clothes.

Schools wouldn’t have to lose resources or time on enforcing a dress code that students simply just don’t listen to. Nudity keeps everyone in line; no need to worry about breaking a dress code. Teachers wouldn’t feel compelled to disrupt class or stop a student in the hallway, since we would all be undressed the same. Students will not have to miss school since their clothes won’t be offensive.  No more suspensions for the dress code.. Showy tops and bra straps will be thing of the past for distracted boys and rebellious girls will not have to even worry about offending any students because of what they find comfortable. n the end, it’s not about letting students express themselves through clothes, but making sure a small percent are not upset by what people are wearing.

To make sure that students can follow by example, teachers, administration, office staff, and the custodians will be naked as well. In order to create a comfortable environment for the students, they must demonstrate nudity is the safest, most professional, non-obligatory way to undress each day.

Schools and families spend thousands of dollars to dress the younger generation, nudity would just be the cheapest resolution. The drama department worried about budget for props and lighting? They’ll save hundreds of dollars just on not worrying about costumes or tailoring.

Just remember once you go nude you won’t go back.
