In this column, I will be talking about 5 conspiracy theories or legends. I hope that everyone will enjoy this column. Although I haven’t personally heard a lot of conspiracy theories, I believe that they can be fun. Maybe this could be part of the conversation with friends.
- Moon landing, a hoax?
People believe that the moon landing didn’t happen. What, that’s insane! Well, some people believe that the moon landing was staged.
- Pan Am flight 914
The legend of Pan Am Flight 914. On July 2, 1955, Pan Am Flight 914 was going from New York to Miami, Florida. But it disappeared, and it was also a nice day out. They say that 40 years later in Venezuela, a mysterious plane landed at the airport, and the traffic controllers weren’t expecting a plane to arrive during that time. They used the intercom, and the pilot on the plane responded. The pilot thought that it was still 1955. Then, they believed that it was the missing Pan Am Flight 914.
- The Earth is flat
I know that everyone knows this conspiracy, but I still want to do it for fun. The Earth is flat. That’s crazy. To this day, we have a lot of photo evidence to show that the Earth is not flat. If the Earth were flat, it wouldn’t be orbiting or tilting at a 45º axis.
- The Illuminati
The Illuminati is real. I’ve heard this one many times, and I’ve also heard different versions of it. For example, “celebrities are secretly in the Illuminati.” This is a fun one to talk about because people debate over whether this secret organization is real or not.
- People thought that Paul McCartney was dead
People thought that one of the famous Beatles singers, Paul McCartney, was dead. He is still alive.
