Are you interested in the medical field when you finish high school? If so, then you should check out HOSA. The Healthcare Occupation Students of America is a national organization that helps students get introduced to the medical field and explore if they wanna go to medicine. HOSA also provides jobs, internships, and college research.
Board member, Sydney Hillenmeyer says, “I love the opportunities it gives me and the people. Almost everyone I’ve met through HOSA is nice and overall amazing. You should definitely join.” If you are looking for opportunities to explore the medical field more in-depth and meet some amazing people with similar interests as you, then you should definitely check out HOSA by emailing Thomas Marchetti at tmarchetti24@pcstudents.us or Sydney Hillenmeyer at shillenmeyer25@pcstudents.us or you can attend their monthly meeting in room 141.
Not only is HOSA a great option if you love the medical field, it is also an easygoing club. Their only requirements are attending 80% of the meetings, attending guest speaker presentations, and a few more general ones on the canvas page. Plus, if you join and meet all the requirements you get a chord at graduation as well as get to compete in competitions. Make sure you check out HOSA today!
