Happy Halloween Miners!
On Tuesday, October 31st, Park City’s streets were filled with trick-or-treaters of all ages. I went to Main Street and captured some of the most thoughtful and unique costumes I saw! In no particular order, here are my top picks!
First up, the Barbie witches!
These ladies all correlated an amazing group costume to have a memorable Halloween!
When asked what their costume was they replied, “We are the pink Barbie witches! We have Ken and Alan too!” In the picture above you can see the two boys dressed appropriately. These ladies are clearly still in their prime and have proven they can trick or treat just like teenagers!
Next, Violet Beauregard, Willy Wonka, and their puppy Oompa Loompa!
This trio went all out this holiday! The green fur, the blue face paint, the decorated stroller, and more, show the passion this family has brought to their costume. When I saw them walking down Main, I just knew I had to ask them for a picture! Take inspo everybody, for these people know how to dress up!
Lastly, but definitely not least, we have the fairies and their horses! Yes, they brought ACTUAL horses to Main Street.
These horses certainly turned heads on Main St. on Tuesday! The 2 girls who rode them also looked amazing. Their costumes had me wondering if they were truly mystical creatures as well as their face paint adding a special touch to their look too! Next year, I hope to see this duo galloping again because it undeniably added a spark to the Park City Halloween atmosphere.
With the fall leaves, carved pumpkins, and warm coats, Park City is one of the most magical places to celebrate Halloween. Every house in every neighborhood plays the part. At dusk, children begin knocking from door to door. It was so hard to only write about three costumes this year because every person I walked past looked remarkable. Dentists may dread the holiday, but being whatever you please for a night is unbeatable. The people highlighted in this article prove that the sky is the limit on October 31st!
