This week is Wish Week at Park City High School (PCHS). Every year, the school partners with the Make-A-Foundation, which aims to grant wishes to children with severe illnesses. This week, PCHS is helping ten-year-old Campbell grant his wish.

Campbell is a comedian who loves video games and spending time with his family and friends. He is excited to participate in some of his favorite activities after treatment, which include swimming and bike riding. Campbell’s family is looking forward to a fun vacation once Campell recovers. Campbell’s wish is to go to Universal Studios’ Harry Potter World.

To raise money for Campbell, Student Council has made the following events in hopes of raising $3,000 for Campbell:

Monday: STUCO organized a miracle minute where students could donate money within a time span of one minute. Also,  Hearth and Hill donated some of their profits from PCHS students to the cause.

Wednesday: O’Shucks is hosting an open mic night where students can perform to raise money.

Thursday: PCHS students dining at Café Zupas will donate some of their profits to the cause.

Student Council has also arranged for a spirit week where the themes include:

Monday: Blue Out

Tuesday: Harry Potter/Disney Day

Wednesday: Groutfit (Gray Day)

Thursday: Adam Sandler Day

Friday: Class Colors (Sophomores: white, juniors: red, seniors: camouflage or black or college gear)

The themes of the week correspond to Campbell’s interests.
